Warm Homes Fund

New funding is available to help install first time central heating to vulnerable Stafford Borough residents. Owner occupiers and private landlords / tenants can apply. To qualify, householders need to be in receipt of benefits OR meet the council's low income qualifying criteria. For more information, to check whether you or someone you know is eligible and to apply, contact us today.

 

Emergency Central Heating Offer Funding –

Funding is available to support low income households who find themselves without heating due to a broken gas heating system. Available to owner occupiers. If eligible, heating replacements are 100% funded. Available until March 31st.  

 

Insulation Grants –

Grants are available for loft insulation and cavity wall insulation for owner occupiers and private tenants / landlords. Households qualify if on means tested or disability / health related benefits or if on a low income. Most works will be fully funded.

 

Home Visits -

Warmer Homes Stafford can undertake home visits for residents across the Borough. Trained energy advisors can offer face to face advice on a range of topics, including energy tariffs, bill discounts, heating, insulation and more. Available until March 31st.

 

Stafford Borough Council Fuel Poverty Grants –

Limited grants are available to help vulnerable households who are struggling at home due to inadequate heating. These can be used to support boiler replacements (where broken) and first time central heating installs. Eligibility criteria varies, so residents in need of help are encouraged to contact us for further information.
